Loving it, but some reason with the latest mod (Experimental Branch) the Industry has no connection to main line - direction to Brooks, like on your screenshot. Any thoughts ?
The Western connection is a progression-based addition you must build by purchasing it in your milestones tab. This was done intentionally so you could run the industries and be annoyed enough about the grade in the east to get the Western connection. It gives players options on how they want to run/operate it. I used Alarka Junction as a receive/staging area for my operation. I can see the benefit if players are building Alarka trains from Andrews and have them drop off and continue to Alarka
Hi there, I'm really sorry to bug you but I have an issue with the mod. I installed it, experimental-specific because I'm on the experimental branch, and I have both of the requirements. I can see the industry buildings there, I can even take contracts with them if I want, but there is no actual track laid down to reach them. Any idea what I might have done wrong?
Nevermind, a little troubleshooting taught me that it's not just access to Alarka Junction that I need, but the wye needs to be in place too. I got it now.
I see your newest Expanded Alarka Yard mod has file versions for both Main Branch and Experimental Branch. Why can't you do that for this West Alarka Junction Industries mod? There are a lot of operators on here that are resisting going over to the Dark Side of the Experimental Branch because of the loss of so many cool Mods that Experimental does not support. And I think your estimation of 3 months left for Main Branch operation is wildly optimistic. Please don't desert your Main Branch mod users and leave us in the dust...
The experimental file is found in Alina's Map Mods directory in the modding section on Railroader Discord. The file is not on their website, unfortunately
If i install this Mod, Strange Customs show me some Errors. Map can not be adjusted, Sylva loop have some errors, Uranium Min is not loaded, and wilson sulfiric acid is not loaded too. By the Way its not compatible to Griz's Map improvements.
Updates on Alinas Map Mod and stange customs done, but it did not work
I play on the Main Branch
/edit forgot to say, the required version of Alinas Map mod is newer than the existing on the mod page
This mod was built on the experimental branch. I've mentioned this to others before, but I am committed to moving my mods over to experimental. I have already started this process. I do not have plans to cater to the current stable version. At this point, I really think what sources have told me, we can expect that experimental will be the stable branch within the next 1-3 months. The latest release from Alina's map mod is found on the Railroader discord under the modding directory for Alina's Map Mods. This is the link to the required version. https://discord.com/channels/795878618697433097/1215150658596900906/1292001105701507134
Can't you make a version for the Main Branch? Please! Then at least we can run this great Mod along with ALL of the other mods that don't work on the Experimental Branch.
SC 1.10 is not compatible with the Main Branch. It kills off MANY other mods and any cars located on these mods disappear forever. And it is impossible to find the download for SC 1.7 to get back all of your mods.
