Here is another attempt to give more casual players a catered interchange. I've done as much as possible with SC and C_L_B Assets where it makes sense. There are now seven interchange tracks, a central line, a progression to build a sorting yard, a wye, and a loop track. Most yard tracks have a gradient of 0.3%, while the interchange yard lead on the west end is 2.5%. Gravity/ humping shunt operations are possible with this interchange, and more so if you decide to use the loop track to your full advantage. The Atlantic Railroad mainline has been moved around and extended to help with shunting operations. There are new industries that are now behind progressions, such as storage facilities, auto-oilers, Water Tower, and locomotive repair sheds.
The storage facility is a unique industry that accepts Diesel Fuel, Coal, and Repair Parts and holds those resources until you need them. You can use the storage facility outright, keeping more of your rolling stock on your railroad for longer and keeping those coal, diesel, and repair parts stocked along your railroad where you need them without waiting a day for said resources to arrive. It still would need to be stocked by Carolina Fuel and Atlantic Locomotive Works, so keep that in mind. The repair facility, or as I called it, "Sylva Engine Standby Yard," is an area where you stage your locomotives to be repaired to 100% for next-day operations. It is not an overhaul location; I tasked that job to Dillsboro, so that area still has a use since you need to refuel. From v2.5, three things were added. You can unlock the Sylva Auto-oiler, a unique industry, by setting the whole interchange tracks to repair tracks. If you have the repair speed 1x, it will auto-fill all your bearing journals. All the storage facilities now have refueling locations.
