Hello, i'd like to remind everyone that i no longer support this mod, i repeat

THIS MOD IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY ME
this is due to a few reasons

    • I no longer have the model file
    • This was a simple test import to learn how to mod, this wasn't meant to be serious

i am working on actual models like the VB but this specific one is just a little joke mod

It's a nice little locomotive, but you have the tractive effort way too high. All it does it spin the wheels. It burns fuel faster than a GP9 because of it. Brought the tractive effort down to 8750lb and it works much better. It only had 78hp, but you are giving it tractive effort close to something with 600hp.

For which variant? the normal one or the re-engined one?

All the variants have a tractive effort about double their weight giving a useless factor of adhesion of 0.5. Even the re-engined version was only 83hp. A low FoA means the wheels just slip instead of transferring power to the track. If the tractive effort is adjusted down to a FoA of 2, the locomotives suddenly become able accelerate a few cars quickly to 35mph. I adjusted their weight to the prototypical weight of 6 tons and tractive effort to 3500lbs giving an FOA around 3. They labor appropriately to get cars moving at those specs.

To get version 1.25 to work, after installing DSB with UMM, go to Railroader/Mods directory and rename "Main Mod" folder to "DSB-56-57-lok"

I can't get it to work. I don't have any of the Thomas engines. I drug the zip into the UMM, and it populated into the folder. It shows on UMM in the game, but when I try to buy it, it doesn't show up. Is there something I am missing?

Does this work with a UMM auto install and can I just turn off the strasburg thomas mod?
    1. yeah you can just turn off strasburg thomas, as for UMM, you just need to drag it into UMM like any other mod

Drag the "Railroader_Data" folder into the Railroader folder. Whistle is installed via RailLoader.
    7. Yeah turns out the file didn't update when i tried to throw V1.1 out, i've only recently found out but im already working on 1.2 anyways which should hopefully work.

Has this update been confirmed to work with the Strasburg Thomas yet? AFAIK for some reason the load order priority prevents one from loading if the other is loaded first.
