Hey great mod thanks for making this, just have a quick question if you could help. How can I set the minimap to toggle because I don't know what the description means with the no argument. Also is it possible to disable weapon zoom when aiming? Thanks
Hi there, the description means that the command works as a toggle when you don't specify whether it should be enabled or disabled. Just omit the argument entirely.
Here is an example of a toggle binding to the F2 key:
bind F2 id5Tweaker_RAGE_HideMiniMap
Also: Right now it is not possible to disable the weapon zoom when aiminig.
Are you sure you are using the right DLL? RAGE comes in both a 32-bit and 64-bit version and depending on which one you want to use, you need to select the correct DLL from the mod. Otherwise it just will not load at all.
I cant seem to get the FPS unlocker to work on Wolfenstein : The Old Blood. It says that it's enabled in the console when I press * but my FPS meter stays at 60...
I have the Steam version and windows 10 Pro x64, I put the 32 bit dll in the main folder, but when I execute the 32 bit exe from Steam or from the folder, it doesn't open the console.
I don't want to use the 64 bit because it doesn't allow achievements.
Ran default settings in the .ini and it made the game look A LOT worse. i literally juist placed the stuff from the folder into the game folder and it gave me problems lol. Doesnt even unlock fps
Is there a way to run a basic test to make sure the .dll loaded in-game? None of the console commands are being recognized, and the .ini startup commands don't seem to be working either...
Specifically I'm trying to make the cross hair disappear, but it won't work.
You can open the console and after the initial load or the loading of a new map, there should be output of the mod stating that it has been loaded. If not, you might use it on an unsupported version of the game.
On a somewhat related note, is there a way to make my weapon and hand dissappear with either a console command or a hack with your tool?
One thing that always bothers me about shooters is never being able to holster my gun... especially in dialogue, when I'm trying to RP. Having a conversation with my gun pointed at the guy's face literally 100% of the time is.... irksome, to be polite, and completely ridiculous gameplay design, to be impolite! lol.

i copied the dinput8.dll file and id5tweaker file in steamapps/common/rage folder.
i have removed the ; from the beginning of the mods i want to run, such as the FPS and FOV.
but when i start the game nothing has changed. also i believe the * on the number pad is meant to toggle it on and off.
am i missing something? maybe ive done something wrong?

On some setups, the idTech5 games sometimes start up wrong and with V-Sync enabled still cap the FPS at 60.
If your display has a manual toggle, you might be able to change it after the game has started.
i'm using the Steam version of Rage in Windows 11
Do you know if there is a method to fix cut sound problems?For example, I tried to block the game in 60 Fps etc ... but nothing changes ...
Would this mod fix the problem?
