I thought it fixed the textures? i followed the instructions to the letter. But all the textures are in potato form. i mean EVERYTHING. What am i doing wrong here? there isnt many fixes for this game so i def am willing to work a little harder to get the mods to work correctly. Any ideas why the textures are so low?
Solved: I forgot to set the tweaker GUI. I'm sorry for my ignorance. I have brought shame upon my family. thank you for this mod. God bless you.
Tried this: Windows 10 (64-bit), Steam version of Quake IV, RTX 3080, 32Gb RAM, NVMe 1Tb, and a 32:9 widescreen CRG.
DOES NOT WORK. Didn't fix the low-quality textures, and it glitches the game into running twice, one in a small corner in the bottom left as an overlay on top the stretched image across the screen.
Well, it does work with any platform or copy of the game. I personally only tried with Steam, but specifically for GOG, here, this is how you follow Step 6!
Follow that link, and when it says to type "-force-opengl", don't do that, instead paste "+seta alphaToCoverage 0 +set fs_game sikkmod +set com_allowconsole 1" without the quotes, and it should work as intended!

Follow the instructions perfectly.
