The purpose of this mod is to make you feel like an 80's action hero. Those Strogg bastards invaded our planet, now it's time to take the fight to them! We sent the biggest badass to put a stop to this threat once and for all... YOU! It's time to become the fiercest warrior Stroggos has ever seen!
Place 'music' and 'pak80' into your:
\Quake 2\rerelease\baseq2 folder and enjoy!
I HIGHLY recommend copying your current music folder and renaming it to 'musicQ2' so you can easily swap back to vanilla by changing the folder names. This is especially useful if you also use my Quake II Arena mod, as you can have all 3 'musicQ3' 'musicQ2' and 'musicVHS' folders in your baseq2 folder.
this mod includes: modified strogg textures, most weapons retextured, new sounds for most weapons including the Strogg's, new player voices, new music, and a new HUD!
