Im realy interested in content errors, such a bad wording in a guide for example that could lead to missunderstandings, but feel free to point out grammatical and writing errors as well.

Wait what? This sounds like a problem you came across, but this is the fist time ive heard of it and this 4 word description aint much. All i can say is s*** happens often?
Hi there and sorry for the late reply. Im using Texmod with Steam. There was a tutorial on youtube i found and i did this as shown in said tutorial. Right now i cant find it anymore but you might find it if you look deep enough. Anyways here are the steps as i remember them: I put the Texmod.exe in the game folder i renamed the prototype game to "(orignalgamename)(somerandomlettersadded).exe" (without " and brakes) and renamed texmod.exe to "originalgamename.exe" . Then i started the Game in steam and Texmod opens. Then i load "(orignalgamename)(somerandomlettersadded).exe" into texmod. Afterwards you can load the corresponding modfiles, as shown in youtube texmod tutorials.
this really infuriates me, it's not your mod, any mod that I've tried crashes the game after loading... either I'm doing something wrong or the problem is my game being the steam version, and yes I did rename and all but nope didn't work. I'm lost
What version of texmod did you use? 0.9 loads and starts the game but i have no textures changes. What could be my issue? is it true that windows 10 doesnt work with texmod?

For me it worked well in Windows 10. I used the texmod 0.9b at least was there some b but that memory is half a year old and therefore not realy clear. All i have is a "Prototypef.exe" with a size of 584 kb shown in the explorer.
I really like your mod but sadly it doesnt run on my PC. I installed all the requirements and the mods are loaded up as you said. When I try to start the game through the Texmod.exe it returns an error that says "ERROR: COuld notload DLL 'prototypeforiginaenginef.dll' Please re-install the game and install the required DirectX 9.0 provided or obtain the latest version from Microsoft"
Would you know how to fix this? I could reinstall the game but I doubt that this would fix the problem
Ah it seems like i might have made a mistake in my description for steam, i made you rename the file allready in the steamtutorial but it seems like i have got the needed name wrong. I will look that up tomorrow. Thank you for noticeing.
In your case rename the .dll file for the 2k /4k resolution which should be "prototypeengineforiginal.dll" if you followed my tutorial to whatever your Error asks for. Then it should be up and running :)

Uhhh, i didnt play much and english isn't my first language so im a bit confused about "street sweeper‘s multiple melee judgment and melee attack mode" but if i had to guess those are game mechanics that go well with my mod. I just retextured tho i didnt change anything deeper game related. Even if i loved to do some work on those "bad old" animations- they would need it, but sadly texmod (or any other tool i know of) gives me no ways to replace those.

I have absolutly no idea where to find the eastereggs! Never seen one myself in the game.
But i could make a easteregg finder where i replace the Textures by absolute white (or cyan or red or whatever) Textures. If you like me to.
OMG, I love this mod and your list of mods, I didn't know them, I played this game on PS3 and I liked it a lot, but after seeing it on PC and how it looked, I didn't feel like buying it, just for this mod and your recommendations I'm going to buy it, it's one of my favorite games.

Its nice that you like the compilation of mods, they realy change the ingame experience... but sadly sometimes there are some Animations that keep repeating that just throw you back and make again clear that this game is well aged. What i wanted to say is that this game needs far more attention untill it realy can shine again. Im looking forward to your reply.
