Whisperers are a mysterious survivors who disguise themselves with the skin of the undead in order to blend in with them and not get noticed.
This mod adds to Project Zomboid:
TWD magazine,
Whisperer mask,
Betas jacket,
bloodbag,
zombie skin, face and scalp,
sceleton dummy
While wearing a mask, zombies will ignore you, but they will follow you when you are in line of sight.
But you mustn't scare them - don't aim at them, don't run, don't kill them...
If you still do this and the zombies notice you, find a place where they can't see you and wait a while for them to forget you. You can come back out as a proper... zombie.
Mask makes you sick and wears out faster than normal clothing.
To make a mask, you need a zombie face, scalp and zombie blood taken from a "living" zombie.
Wearing the Beta jacket gives you the ability to use firearms.
If you don't have a mask, you can also take guts from zombies and smear it on yourself - it will hide you for a while. However, it wears off quickly, especially in the rain.
If you are considered as zombie, they don't understand it, they only realize that you are "theirs" up close. So don't be alarmed when they rush towards you...
