I installed it with mod manager, it didn't say there was a conflict with any other mod so I opened up the game and it didn't show in any of the skin slots. So I thought I must have missed something so I went back to the mod manager and disabled all other UF-22 skins except the Essex one and loaded the game again, still no dice. So I deleted it alongside its archive and re-installed it, booted the game again and still no skin. I figured maybe the UF-22 mod was having issues so I turned it off and there wasn't even a missing file warning from the skin mod so I'm not sure anymore.
In the installation instructions. I did not mention anything in regards to this "Mod Manager" only PSM (Project Sicario Manager). As for the UF-22 mod, disabling it is not a good idea. You need the UF-22 mod. In your "~mods" folder the UF-22 mod needs to be there & under the UF-22_P.pak mod should be the UF-22 skins.
The mod manager I am using is Nexus Mods' own mod manager 'Vortex', it has a plugin for Project Sicario merger. When I said about the UF-22 mod I meant I tried disabling it just once to see if it would create a conflict with the skin mod and it didn't. Vortex tells you if mods are dependent or in conflict with each other so that means that the two mods weren't interacting or using each other like they should do.
The mod manager handles installation of mods into the "~mod" folder or any other installation method for other games so I don't have to download and unzip mods directly into it. Not to say that I can't so I will try that now and get back to you
