What Does This Mod Add?
- Two additional Insurance Companies
- Tweaks maximum number of insurance companies to 8
A bit about this Mod
Adds an additional two insurance companies, Medicare & Research Grant Institute.
These companies are designed to help compliment a more causal game play style or for people who may struggle with the game.
Medicare is a lower payout high volume insurance provider designed to provide a steady income from objectives and the high number of patients. This insurance company has twice as many objectives as most others to help continue to give the player goals to aim for.
Research Grant Institute is a very low volume but very high payout provider designed to help players that struggle to make budget targets or have trouble with income management.
I’ve also tweaked the maximum numbers of insurance companies to 8 so the player can accept as many as they want to if not all.
Roadmap:
This mod is considered feature complete. It will be supported through bug fixes or if broken by game updates.
It will be revamped/redone if there are major game changes.
Know Issues:
- The insurance panel does not have scrolling so on displays less then 1920x1080, all insurance providers may not display correctly. It is recommended you do not use this mod if your display is less than 1920x1080. The limit is eight companies @ 1920x1080 before they’ll be cut off. (1440x900 works too).
- Custom Icons aren't in just yet, I have found a means to do this but it is currently low on my list, hope to get to it soon.
- Be careful about accepting too many insurance companies at once, the game may not perform well if too many patients are coming in and could result in crashes.
Conflicts:
This mod will conflict with other mods that tweak the maximum insurance company limit.
