update 07/01/2021 - applies generic shader tweaks, effects all camera views but normalizes global light when in cockpit reduces overbright and too dark environments. - added a second tweak that removes sticker on windshield for specific cars. - slightly adjusted strength and narrowed cone of cars headlight - reshade tonmemap shader has been adjusted, less aggressive. update 18/11/2020 (only for option b cockpit version v1.4) - removed shader tweaks for cockpit with exception off the tunnel and snow shaders, reduction of brightness and darkness now done with a dynamic tonemap by reshade effects all camera views but is intended for cockpit view.
update 10/11/2020 - reduce intensity godrays tweaked to lower values - reworked shader tweaks for cockpit view once again now only reduces darkness. - added tweaked shader to reduce darkness in tunnels specifically Cuba - reduce snow glare on front windscreen was tweaked version 1.0.0.0615 - reshade tonemap has been phased out in both packages - shader tweak headlight car avatar and npc's has been deprecated no longer needed.
update 04/10/2020 - reworked shader tweaks for overbright cockpit view again - changed decrease brightness sky clouds was still causing glitches under some conditions specifically rain. - increased headlights car avatar a little bit - added remove sticker windscreen interior view not in exterior view - cockpit version no longer uses reshade tonemap - all the above mentioned updates only apply to the cockpit specific version.
update 25/09/2020 - the main package now contains no shader tweaks related to the cockpit - added option b specifically for the cockpit view (includes shadertweaks from main package) - reworked shader tweaks for overbright cockpit view - increased bloom slightly - the red collision vignette changed with version 1.0.0.0591 from 6ea52bdcffa655bd-ps_replace.txt to 3f4543a24de1f62f-ps_replace.txt the tweaks have been applied to the new shader - changed decrease brightness sky clouds no longer glitches with lightning and other weather effects
In your case a possible solution would be to remove all the shaders in the folder 'shaderfixes' with exception of: 3F4543A24DE1F62F-PS_REPLACE.TXT // reduce vignette higher speeds car also removes red collision vignette // for version 1.0.0.0591
Just in case also remove the .bin of all the shaders then start the game.
Under 'shader tweaks' in the description a more detailed explanation is given regarding tweaking the shaders, also see 'shader list' for a brief description of each shaders tweak.
I had major issues with this mod for some reason, after I installed it, my game just crashes at the start, the only way was uninstall and reinstall, hopefully others don't encounter this like I did. My friend who also installed this mod saw 30-40 FPS improvements ! The next biggest improvement was the anti aliasing.
