is it really hard to specify what game version the mod is compatible with? because its not with the latest version, and i have no way of knowing which version i need to use
Hey, after taking a break from Prison Architect for about 2 years i wanted to get back into it and I chose this mod for it as I really liked it when i first discovered it on the steam workshop in like 2018. Anyway, so I've now played about 3 hours and I thought that the helipad could be replaced with a runway (either make a new asset or just replace the sprite) and the helicopter itself could be a Ju-52. Just a random thought idk, but expect more like these from me.
From the pictures it looks absolutely awesome. An "interesting" idea for a play throguh. However, I can't for the life of me get it to work. Yes, I have followed every step to the letter.
The weird thing is that when I fire up the game with the mods active, the background shows the prisoners in the modded uniforms, but the guards all in vanilla. Then I go to the settings and deactivate it all and then reactivate it again. Yes, I make sure load order is set correct as well. Looking at the background everything looks awesome. Prisoners in POWR outfits, guards in Wehrmacht uniforms and German weapons of the era. Same for the rest of the staff types. Yet, as soons as I start of load a prison, the only thing that seems not work are the uniforms. All the renamed and remodelled items show up properly. Warden works fine too and the same for trucks. But for the life of me I can't get any of the prisoner or staff uniforms to work in an actual game.
Any ideas?
Otherwise, judging from the pictures, you did an amazing job!
Even after installing the 3.0 version, I encounter the same problem. Most textures work fine but the Staff, Workers, Janitors etc. all have vanilla uniforms.
Edit: Nvm. Make sure you take the individual mod folders out of the main folder and put them in the "mods" folder individually.
Having a bug with the new future DLC, I don't have it but the textures for the buildings are screwed. It's annoying that wood is brick and brick is concrete, completely messed with the vibes of the mod - I would revert to an old version of the game but paradox does not care for Prison Architect anymore besides getting cash from it.
Been playing for a while and it sucks paradox took it down, by far one of the best mods out there for the game - bit uncomfortable at times having to explain why I'm running a POW camp but, whatever.
