Nice to see quality mods for pop series again. But isn't there a texture pack in the works already? It has quite a beautiful dagger in it. I saw it on the pop subreddit.
    Edit : Here it is : https://www.reddit.com/r/PrinceOfPersia/comments/18xrg3u/finally_t2t_daggers_are_in_beautiful_hd_texture/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I didn't know about that, I only saw a pack that works with a PS2 emulator. I'm doing these packs for my own enjoyment anyway, if anyone else gets a kick out of them, even better. :)

Yes! Definitely your pack is brilliant. I just hope the creator continues his work too and make it full and improve it over yours. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the texture pack!! Is there a way I could edit some of the textures myself? I've to use paint.net for some textures but some don't change while some do.

Glad you enjoyed it! The DDS format is a bit tricky to open, I've used Photoshop with the nVidia DDS Plug-In, if you can download those you can open any of the textures in the pack.

Awesome! will definitely try that out. Does this texture pack also contain every texture in the game? I can't seem to find all of the enemy textures.

The pack only includes textures I've worked on. Each had to be exported individually, and some of them I didn't feel like messing with, sorry.

No worries, still a great improvement either way! Would you be able to show me how to export textures? This mod has inspired me to do some texture editing.

Thanks! In the Injector scroll down to Texture Swapping & you can see the keys to pull up textures. I redefined them to +- to scroll between them & F11-F12 to pull up & export textures (it's what I use with Texmod, so it's more comfortable to me than the default keys). I recommend checking the Force lockable textures box, otherwise it won't let you dump already loaded textures. It will put all the exports in the VOKSI\Dumps folder. Place all the modified textures to Replacements (don't change filenames!). To be able to use them, hit Compile Textures before playing. It creates a dumps list file in the Dumps folder. However it will probably mess up compatibility with my textures without the originals as it rewrites the dumps list, so be aware of that.
      Good luck!

Fantastic! It's like Christmas come early once one of these hits.

Is it possible these will be updated in future? If not, how were these textures acquired? Apologies if it's sounding ungrateful, it's just I notice the starting dagger impaled in the table is horrendously vanilla PS1 quality still and it was bugging me trying to fix it months ago with SpecialK.

Haha I appreciate your enthusiasm. I'm calling these 99% done when I post them, but I hate that knife, too, I might just go back and redraw it now that you called me out on it..
I used the same injector to export the textures, so feel free to experiment with it.

Ah, cheers for the brisk response. Thanks for the permission. I can't remember if I tried doing it myself a while back but I do remember the dagger texture was ridiculously 64x64 so I'm not surprised it looks so bad. I don't think I've seen a game with such baffingly bad textures by default, even for a PC port.

That said that 99% of yours is most certainly a 200% improvement thanks to your mods, so again, cheers!
