Changes the scale of Earth to better reflect reality. Uses math from this reddit post and is based on an approximate FOV of 90.
Since 1.1, the resulting size was increased by 50% to better fit NASA photos, as brought up by a comment and confirmed by my personal observations in SpaceEngine.
Since 1.1, the save file thumbnail for the exterior was changed to a cropped and upscaled promo image that doesn't have the vanilla sized Earth. Some cutscenes may have it, but they are already worse than the ingame image in various ways, so it's not like it's a big change.
May not be compatible with mods that change the same file. Only one I'm aware of is Real Lights and Graphics.
