Hi, having just purchased the Prey Digital Deluxe Edition on GOG, the Mooncrash dlc is supposedly included however, having installed the game, there is no Whiplash directory so is the Mooncrash version of this mod still required in addition to the default version?
Nope, you don't have to install both at the same time- the base game and Mooncrash files for this mod work separately, so you can pick and choose which ones you want!
That's an interesting idea! In the meantime, one way to differentiate mimicked objects in the vanilla game is that mimics will emit a soft clicking/chittering noise. Keep your ears peeled and you'll never be fooled again. =]
