This mod has never worked for me. I am wondering if its because I have other mods installed such as More guns mod infinite ammo mod, fixed stack mod , all the hack mods. Please help.

I was having the same issue.  What I did was remove all the other mods when I started a new game, collected all the chipsets from this mod, saved, exited, removed this mod, put the others back, and then start the game back up and enjoy all the chipsets and mods.

Years later, so I am not expecting anything to be done about it, but it seems that this mod is missing the RECOVERE++ 2094I Psycoscope chipset to regenerate health. I've got all the rest including the two chips from the Treasure Hunt quest, and the preorder bonus Recycler Shielding chip, so the mod is working. That one chip seemed to either not be present, or it's glitched and I am not seeing it.

Despite that, getting all of the rest of the chips is a very good bonus when starting a new game, so thanks for the mod.

Firstly. Excellent mod, never felt so strong by picking up all chipsets at once. Secondly, why was she carrying so many chipsets?

For anyone trying to use this with another mod that modifies loot tables (a more loot mod or more stuff from recycling charges) then make a new save with just this mod installed, grab all the chipsets, save, exit to desktop, then add all your other mods and it should work

Does this mod work for pirated version? If yes, then how to install this mod for the pirated version?

Since your mod isn't compatible with other loot mods, since they manipulate the same file, I made a slight edit to it inspired by the Greed mod.  The mimics dropped the least valuable Typhon organs.  They have almost no exotic material in them.  So, instead of that, they now have a 100% chance of dropping 5 recycler grenades, 5 boxes of 9mm rounds, 5 boxes of shutgun shells, and 2 neuromods.  But you need the necropsy skill to get the neuromods.  Like the original mimic organ that they replace.  Since mimics are the most common typhon in the game, this small edit was enough to give the player the ability to acquire large amounts of ammo and recycler grenades.   But it's intentionally limited to those three items.  In my play through, I found that it made the recycler grenades and those two guns useful.  But I could still burn through all of it when fighting bigger creatures with my guns or if I went crazy and tried to recycle everything in a map area.  To me that strikes a good balance on a game where I want to turn off my unlimited ammo mod.  As for the extra neuromods, that seems to strike the right balance too.  You can't get any extra neuromods until after you reach the Talos1 lobby the first time.  And while you can acquire some important skills quickly, it's not ridiculous.  To me it seems more like the rate you should be able to do those things at.

I would suggest that you post another version of your mod with a psychoscope with those specific changes for people who aren't too crazy about the ridiculously limited amount of ammo and raw materials in the game.  Who would prefer a more balanced game with reasonable amounts of things but that still presents a challenge.  Especially  at higher difficulty levels.  For people like me who like having unlimited ammo, they can recycle the extra ammo and recycler grenades to gain some additional raw materials.  And they can still benefit from the extra neuromods available.  Which for me was the one thing the unlimited ammo mod couldn't help me with.  I could post my version myself.  But since this is only a small alteration to your existing mod, it seems more appropriate for you to take credit for it.  Otherwise I would consider posting it with credits to you for your excellent original mod that it's based on.  And probably the Greed mod as well.  Since it's kind of a merging of the two ideas.

Hey, I was hoping you or anyone could help me out with how to get these mods to activate. Even with tutorial videos, and placing mods like this in the correct precache folder (both original and whiplash version for mooncrash) it seems i can not get them to work/activate. I have tried pasting the original .pak as well as unzipping them and placing the contents and no luck. i am unsure if it is a version issue (though i do not see any version differences) but any mod i have tried so far seems to not have any affect. do you happen to have any ideas or tips, otherwise i am prettymuch SOL. Thanks!

Go to "SteamApps\common\Prey\GameSDK\Precache". In that folder, place the .pak files, and you should be good to go. Here's an image for reference (https://i.imgur.com/9n6RsEd.png). Your Steam library will be different than mine, but that's the gist of it.

Thanks for the reply, this is exactly where I have placed my .pak file mods and it seems none but 1 are working. i downloaded the 1 button hacking mod which seems to work, but all others seem not too. I am coming to believe it may be more of a windows issue rather than a file or placement issue

That's very strange, since you seem to be doing everything correctly. My only suggestion would be to see if the .pak files can be opened with 7zip or some kind or archiving software. If you don't have any of those, change the extension from .pak to .zip. The point being, if you can open the .pak, the mod files are good. If you can't then the archive is damaged in some way. If the latter is the case, I'll see about repacking the archive to see if that fixes it.

Are you opening the file first with Winrar then copy/pasting the .pak to precache? It should work.

You want to take a look at the mods you are using.  Some of them conflict with one another.  For instance, mods that alter how much loot you get will likely create problems with this one or with each other.  I have this mod in combination with the one key hacking mod, the proper unlimited ammo mod, and Nitro's new game mod.  And they all seem to be playing nice together.  But mods like the Greed mod probably won't work right with this one.  Because they are trying to alter the same game settings.

Great mod.  I got the version for a regular game start with the pychoscope.  The only potential bug I saw was that you don't want to scan the mimic who was attacking that guy as you are getting decontaminated as you are leaving the simulation area.  A mimic ended up in their with me, I saw a guy running away, and the doors jammed.  I think it was the same guy both dead and alive.  And a mimic on the other side of the door was frozen.  It was a bizarre glitch in the game.  So, don't do that, and you should be fine.  I tested this mod in combination with the proper unlimited ammo mod, the one key hacking mod, and Nitro's new game mod.  They all seemed to work well together.  In fact, I think Nitro's mod worked better with having the psychoscope early.  And while I don't feel having the psychoscope or chips early are a game changer, it's certainly convenient.  It's stupid to wait most of the game for things that you should have at the beginning of it.  I also understand that this mod won't work well with other loot mods like Greed(Extreme) that I was using.  But this current combination of mods works better for my purposes anything.  So, people should be aware of that, but It's not a big problem in my case.
