I'm assuming you're thinking the air should slow you down? That's an interesting one though I don't think it's possible, there's no distinction made in the files I was editing, just normal and zero gravity. But also the QoL factor of not having to hold down a button to keep moving and it making things a bit more difficult, I would add it as an optional config option if I could
Yes, I was thinking the air resistance would stop you. Would there be a way to mark all the areas that have zero-g and oxygen manually? Or are the modding tools not that extensive?
i'm playing prey for the first time right now and this was my first and only complaint so far. i was like why the hell am i decelerating in a zero g vacuum? lol any chance i can get some installation instructions for this mod?
I used "Chairloader", a modding framework. Install and run Chairloader, then select your Prey.exe with Chairloader, do whatever Chairloader asks you, download this or whatever mod here and select the .7z with Chairloader, deploy, Launch Prey. Took me around 10mins.
Does this require a new game, or can I install it and play on an existing save?
This will be my first playthrough, so while I'm going to avoid most mods, I wanted to check the nexus and see if there was anything to enhance immersion or fix bugs. This seems like something I'd absolutely want to use, but without having played the game before I won't really know if its working or not until I encounter it un-modded first.
I believe it should work? In any case, so long as you have a save from before you installed a mod, it will be possible to uninstall it and load it, and if there were issues things should be fine
