but why the shotgun and stun gun? you get a stungun with like 300 cells in the first room when you break out? And the shotgun is closer to you then the office is. I get the neromods, chips and the food tho
Well I mean, when I made this save....(JESUS, A YEAR AGO!? HOLY CRAP TIME FLIES), I was just going around the starting area picking up everything I thought was worthwhile to grab, which was basically...everything. Hence that resulted in grabbing the stun gun and shotgun along with everything else. Why not right? That's the whole point of this save afterall, just having a good clean start to the game.
Hey I was going to go for a play through of this and was wondering what's the point of using the 2nd option that has the already progressed / activated side quest when I could still just do it myself? What is done with it?
Well, I decided to throw that in there, since you will be beginning at the office, and that side quest, to my knowledge, is picked up back on a computer through the neuromod division that I already played through for you in this save.
I was worried that some who may download and use this save, wouldn't think to go back to a previously looted and explored area just to check one specific computer, so just in case, I made a version of this save where I already went back, got that side started from the email, then went and stopped in at the trauma center to read another email for that quest that let you know to go find his body in psychotronics, THEN I return to the office again, and left the save off there.
Basically, if you want to go back to start that quest yourself, thats fine! I just put a optional save here in case you wanted to skip that step, which I figure you may as well do. Otherwise the saves are exactly the same.
Appreciate the explanation this is what I assumed. ;) Just wanted to be sure... Never got far into this game as I was too young to have the patience to play it tbh. I still probably don't, might use cheatengine since it seems like you need to do a lot of inventory management in this game. Lmao <3 thank you for the save again though! ;D
No worries lol, yeah I also used to have a hard time getting into this game. After playing Dishonoured, which the developers of the prey also made, I gained a much better sense of understanding about why these games were so enjoyable. Made me come to prey and have such a good time, that I made this mod save.
Also, you may not need to cheat engine if you use this save, as you could start the game by using all those neruomods I got ready for you, plus more that you can fabricate right there in your office, to max out your inventory space right away if you please!
