    There are multiple errors when merging the file in the Real Lights plus Ultra Graphics Mod, patch_Z_jmx777_Real_Lights_Ultra_Graphis.pak;
like required attribute is missing and start-end-tags-mismatch.
Do i need to wait for it to be updated or is there another solution?

I'm having the same issue. Not worth removing all my old mods to use one mod that requires chairloader

This mod is compatible with the Vortex extension. You can enable the Mod Manager Download button for this mod.

I set up special mod installers for Chairloader mods, and also an optional mod type to install legacy mods to be used with Chairloader.

I never used Vortex. I assumed it could only move .pak files to Precache. Since Chairloader itself is not a pak, I disabled Vortex support. Is it really possible to install Chairloader via Vortex?

Yes. It has it's own special installer, and another installer for it's mods. The Vortex extension also has a tool to run Chairloader directly form the Vortex interface.

It looks like Chairloader is trying to read _folder_managed_by_vortex files and producing an error on deployment. Also, a lot of my mods weren't loaded by Chairloader because the folder name didn't match the mod name in ModInfo.xml.

Thanks for the report disasterchief. I've updated the extension to keep Chairloader mods in zips in the Mods folder so that they can be installed with the Chairloader GUI. This solves the folder name and extra files issues.

Hi, how do I ensure a mod is enabled? I've installed the touch up mod. Do I just tick it and then hit deploy mods? Anything else?

Delete Prey/GameSDK/Precache/patch_chairloader.pak and Prey/Binaries/Danielle/???/Release/mswsock.dll and then validate game files in Steam/GOG/EGS.

Open ChairManager, press Install Mod and select a .pak file. It will be automatically extracted to correct folder. If the mod has multiple paks (e.g. for levels), you have to install each one individually.

After that you can enable the mod and merge them as any other Chairloader mod.

Is there a way to keep certain Debug Menu options enabled after each launch or load?
ex: Infinite Stamina remains enabled when launching the game

You can add some options to a config file. Create a file named autoexec.cfg in Prey game folder and add console commands to this file. They will be executed on game startup.

The command for infinite stamina is "pl_infinite_stamina 1". But it will not work because it is only available after the game has started. So you can't auto-enable infinite stamina.

I'm having issues getting legacy mods to work correctly.  One of my favorite qol mods is "Detailed Tooltips" and I can't get it to work at all.  The other is UnDarken.  It somewhat works but sounds don't get modified.

    Any tips for these?

They should be supported in next version of Chairloader, which improved legacy mod handling

If I installed a .pak with legacy how do I remove it from the legacy mod list? I can right click mods in the "Mods"  list but I can't do anything to the legacy mods.

You can manually go to Prey/Mods/Legacy and remove the file. Next version of Chairloader allows you to remove legacy mods from the UI.

Hi! I recently finished Prey, and I wanted to use some mods. However, I did use two minor mods: stylyzed portraits and a mod that changed the logo to Typhon. However, I think that mod doesn't seem to work with this one, with the logo ingame being "Prey: Chairloader" instead of, well, "Typhon". Is it possible to use this logo replacer, or at least disable the custom logo from Chairloader? Thanks for the tool btw
Edit: Can I use this in conjuction with "Real Lights" and "Interface Customizer"

For logo replacement, you can install it as a patch_???.pak mod in Precache. But make sure that it goes after patch_chairloader.pak in alphabetical order (e.g. rename it to patch_zzz???.pak)

Real Lights should be supported in the next version, which overhauled legacy mod support

Interface Customizer is not compatible with Chairloader at the moment. But you can work around this issue if you revert DLL patch in Chairloader settings.
