I've been looking around for a way to contact the mod maker, but can't find one. If you do read this, I'm trying to ask around about having a mod made that makes the little indicator that points back towards the center of the map more visible/customizable, and one that makes it easier to control the rate of water being poured into the cauldron. Any help with that?
Hey, sorry Nexus mods isn't great at notifying me when people comment here. By the far the best place you can go to get your ideas heard is the Potion Craft discord. There is a channel there called #modding where you will get quick responses from a bunch of modders including me. Here is the discord invite link: https://discord.gg/55jGhjET
As far as your actual question there actually was a mod in the past to help with indicator visibility but I believe it has been out of date for some time. Maybe someone will take you up on those ideas in the discord. I might be able to at some point but I have been to busy to make new mods for a while now.
Mods for Potion Craft use a mod loader called BepInEx. The thing is that BepInEx loads mods in the ".DLL" format, which is also commonly used for Windows native library files. A lot of viruses disguise themselves inside .DLL files in order to infect important files to make your computer work.
So a lot of antiviruses will go paranoid when you download .DLL files. Every mod from Potion Craft will get that warning.
There's really no need to worry if you download them from NEXUS MODS, but if you're still worried, just don't play mods in Potion Craft.
