Hi, as of June 21 of 2022, the scimitar-horned oryx is an official animal in Planet Zoo! You can obtain this animal by purchasing the Conservation Pack! Which also comes with the Siamang, Amur Leopard, Przewalski's Wild Horse and Axolotl!
whats the difference between this one and the one featured in the safaria pack - besides the whole 1.7, 1.8.-thing, of course? Have you taken over Nicks original?
The old Scimitar Oryx was made by Level_Wolf who is no longer active, that's the one in the Safari pack, Narwhaler made a new one for the 1.8 version of the game
The original mod was made by levelwolf (also it's currently outdated), and nah I haven't taken over it, this is a separate mod made by myself simply because I wanted to make it hahah, the models, code, localization, etc. are all different, their only thing in common is the species they feature, I hope that answered your question! :)
