an adult black caiman could grow above 4 meters and older one could be larger than 5m, maybe scale the model up a little bit for realism plz?

Can you please update your crocs and caimans mods to 1.9. My crocodilian conservation center is half empty without them. :)

hey, great stuff but from the look of the images, this is nothing more than a recoloured American Alligator. Black Caimans have thinner snouts and much more interesting and angular ridges along said snout. This should really just be used as a "Melanistic American Alligator" mod than a new species one.

I was coming here to say this. They have thinner shorter snouts. I could only find one picture where it looked like this and i think its a mislabeled picture of a gator.

Yeah, besides the unique nuchal scales and massive small supraorbital scales, black caimans have bony ridge between their eyes which is similar with other caiman species, and as for the body shape, Black Caimans tend to have relatively smaller head and longer tail compared with American Alligators.

As much as I appreciate new mods and the hard work involved, this one is a miss. Looks almost identical to the Alligator. An upscaled version of the Dwarf Caiman with a new skin would be closer to the mark I think.
