Loved the mod, but now trying to build a zoo I can add on the workshop for others to see. If I take the backed up .ovl files that aren't injected, and return them to the respectful folders, the game no longer starts. Wondering if you've tried resetting with the original .ovl files successfully
I never had any problems going back and forth between .ovls (be it after an update or otherwise) or loading zoos that were build using the mod on another PC that didn't have it installed, so I don't think it's an issue with the mod but rather some wrongly placed backup file. When the mains get mixed up e.g. the game will crash on start. When you want to go back to vanilla PZ the best way is to verify the files via steam, that'll reset all of the original files to their default state.
Bonjour je voulais savoir si tu peux faire une vidéo comme au installer le mod parce que je comprends pas de comment l'installer. Même avec les explication. Merci
I'm really sorry but my French is terribly rusty so I don't really know if I got what you mean...
I think you're asking me to make a video on how to install the mod? Like it says in the description there are already several of those on youtube, all you gotta do is go there and search for cobra tools tutorials...
Since you are working on the update, could you make it like a new species mod? I tried the injectable one, and it crashed my game every time. Thank You
The update's actually already out and no, no plans (+time) to try and turn this into a standalone mod atm.
The files should work perfectly fine, they're the same ones I have injected into my own main.ovls and everything works as it should. When you inject them make sure you don't accidentally overwrite the wrong main.ovls. The tools always keep the previous content file open in the save window, so after you injected and saved something in the content0 main.ovl make sure to navigate into the content1 folder to save the next one etc. When the wrong main is overwritten the game crashes.
All the instructions are in the readmes, they tell you exactly where the files need to go and what you need in case you wanna use the injectable version. Though, I gotta update and test the files for the newest game update now anyway, so should you still want to install it better wait for the updated 1.7 files.
If by that you mean a toggle to turn it on and off whenever, then no. I'm afraid it's either all grid or none at this point since a toggle would need additional coding and a place in the UI as well which is sadly above my pay grade. However if anyone should figure out how to add a toggle for it I'll certainly update the files here.
