Melanistic white is done, it will come with the next update that also has fully reworked models, extra details, revamped variation and some changes on the stripes.
Yeah there is a limit on variants, we have 6 slots available that are base skin, albino, erythristic, leucistic, melanistic and xanthic, if an animal isn't using a slot, we can repurpose it for any variant we want, but no more than those 6. Piebald was added as a 7th but it doesn't use a variant slot, instead it works like a mask that can mix the existing variants in a set of patterns.
Nope, blurryness happening or not is totally depending on the user end, as long as modders ourselves don't have the issue we can't really fix it by changing anything. So its fixed now, maybe you found out a way to fix your problem, which is uninstalling and reinstalling the mod.
It will work but the new variants are messed up and swapped to incorrect slots due to Frontier adding them officially, since they skipped making the Snow white, but made pseudo-melanistic, their melanistic is using my snow white slot, so expect an update to the mod soon.
Edit: a temporal update is out so the variants work, UI will be redone in a future update to better match the new visuals.
Sadly this is a hardware issue that will happen for some people when using mods, your computer has to load files from the base game and the remaster at the same time and go back and forth between them, if it's not capable of doing that task, the textures will appear blurry, this may happen with the tiger or any other remaster, maybe new species too, we can't do anything to fix this issue for you
tks for your reply. Other remaster I've tried so far (Siberian Tigers, Lions) appear fine. I don't know why it doesn't work like that in this mod..
Edit: I'd like to add that only the default and the leucistic versions appear blurry. The other ones (Golden Tabby Tiger, Snow White Tiger and Melanistic Tigers) appear fine.
Others working while this isn't seems to be how it always happens, the mods that get blurry seem to be random, other people could have a blurry saltwater croc for example. Regarding the variants, it makes sense, default and albino get information from the base files and the mod at the same time, while the added variants are only present in the mod.
Ive been having an issue where the Snow White Coat tiger and the Pseudo-melanistic Tiger and coming in white with black stripes, having no color at all. Even their eyes and nose are lacking color and are white.
