At least for me, this mod was the source of my game crashing before it could even load up. I would use caution and put it in your game ovl file first, without any other mods to see if it does the same for you. There is another hammerhead shark on here I tried instead and it worked fine. Maybe it simply needs an update to fix the crashing the game problem.
