I love the mod, it's amazing; I just wish the biome was not only tropical but also temperate?

(I'd do it myself but I'm useless at modding)

Thanks Greatcake. I love the kakapo, I love toucans, I love macaws (the Hyacinth macaw is magical, giant and docile like the Great Dane of the parrot world). It's magical to have the blue-throated macaw in game. Along with the Spix, and the Glaucous (which is probably extinct sadly), this is the only macaw I haven't seen. It's great to see them in the game, so thank you for all your work. They really look great, and they are being enjoyed by many.

I love parrots - I wait for the day cockatoos come to PZ - I don't know how hard they would be to code. I'm guessing they'd have to have their crests fully up all the time, but that would be cool with me.

About tropical vs. temperate - same here, I'd love to use it with the Kiwi, but that is temperate in game. As for the kakapo, it's is native (or was native) to the whole length of South island, and to Stewart island (Rakiura), which is to south of South Island. One of it's refuges is Chalky island (Te Kākahu-o-Tamatea) and that's off Fjordland, named after similarities with the fjords of Norway, both geology and climate. It is very temperate (as opposed to tropical), in fact a lot of South island will see frost in the winter. Only the northern most parts of New Zealand (Aoteroa) are classed as subtropical. Upto 80% of Kiwi native plants can be grown in parts of the UK, and that's certainly not tropical.

Is it easy to use PZPlus (as in, is it in-game changing of settings, or do we need to change the coding to get it to work)? I've come back to playing PZ, after a hiatus spurred from having too many mods and the game not working.

Thank you so much. I've been playing almost exclusively with your creations in the past week or two - the Kea, Kakapo, the three macaws, the toucans - they're all some of the most awesome birds on the planet and great additions. Oh and the condor too. The mods are working well. I think I've understood how PZ+ works now (but not attempted any changes) but without these mods you've made, none of that would be possible. Cheers!

As a Kiwi myself and of Māori descent I want to just say how amazing this mod is in every way, and that you fixed the Macrons in the names, ooooooo that's so wonderful.

    Ngā mihi e hoa :)

It's a great mod, cake! Just a bit of a heads up! Kakapo is missing the Macrons, and since it's a maori word the plural is the same as the singular, "Kakapos" is not correct. other than that and the image issue it's a wonderful mod!

    Tino Mīharo (Very excellent)

As a Kiwi (New Zealander) I must say from the bottom of my soul that this is a certified work of art, so very thankful everyone loves the rare fat parrots as much as we do.
