With larger aerial threats being discovered every day and colony manufacturing capabilities increasing, NeoTech were tasked with designing an air superiority fighter that could also be used for ground bombardment if necessary. The Falcata, based on the cockpit design of the Kukri, was their response.
Sporting twin missile launchers and a front-mounted dual machine gun, the Falcata is capable of taking on both air and ground threats. Its superior speed and agility, thanks to two jet engines at the rear, allow it to quickly strike its targets and retreat out of firing range, ready to return for another pass.
While the Falcata has sufficient fuel for combat operations it is not meant as a scout craft and does not have the range of other smaller, less powerful craft like the Kukri.
