This is a cool mod but I wish it didn't affect consumables like poisons and explosives.

Thanks! Yep, Sigil of Balance is compatible with pretty much everything. If you are also using my EXP mod though, you should either uninstall it, or delete the experience reduction from deadly deadfire.

Do experience reduction mods not work with your EXP mod, or is it just that there wouldn't be enough EXP in the game if you were to use both?

The latter, except there probably IS enough XP in the game depending on which deadly deadfire XP reduction you are using. You can see the rough numbers laid out in the math image for my XP mod. Both mods will take effect, but I do not think it would create a good game.

Also, the numbers on Deadly Deadfire are actually kind of off, since the original modifier applied by Obsidian is actually 1.35. The 20% reduction Deadly Deadfire talks about is more like 14.9% because it reduces the 1.35 modifier to 1.15.... So you SHOULD be able to hit 20 by combining with this version of the mod, IF you complete game events in the correct order for optimal EXP. But not if there is another version of DD that changes the modifier in a different way, which there is, I think. You can see how the situation might become confusing and difficult to track. Also, all of this defeats the point of my EXP reduction because it's not really about difficulty as much as improving the progression curve, with the side effect of increasing difficulty. Basically, I am on record here saying that combining them is a bad idea and you shouldn't do it lol
