When looking through the latest patch notes (available here) I noticed this little nugget:
The in-game year has been fixed to show the year 2828.
Apparently Obsidian forgot to change the in-game calendar for PoE2 and instead used the same year for this game as they did for PoE1. In other words, the in-game calendar is 5 years off. I have fixed this in the latest version of the mod but this change will not be applied retroactively. Currently know no way of fixing this and I think our best bet is hoping for Obsidian to provide a fix.
The only way I know how to remedy this at the moment is to forward the time manually using the console command:
AdvanceTimeByHours 45090
This will probably break something in your game so use it with caution. Also, your crew might be a bit angry with you seeing you left them alone without food for about 5 years...
Thanks, this is perfect for the Eathos' Challenge (Complete each critical path quest by specific dates or the game ends.)
I love this challenge because it provides lore friendly urgency to the main story, but this mod balances it out by allowing me time to explore towns and dungeons without feeling rushed.
Thank you so much for this, it seriously got on my nerves how damn quickly days/nights passed by in this game. I woke up in a beautiful room at this vibrant inn after drinking in the tavern area downstairs all night, woke up hangover-free mind you which surprised me - you can consume a lot of alcohol in even a small time out with my companbros, but we were there the WHOLE night, man, so imagine how much alcohol can be consumed in five freaking minutes of drinking!! So to wake up without a hangover was a pleasant surprise, but I digress. Anyway, so I decided to stretch my legs and take a stroll down the street, maybe kick a beggar or two along the way and to my disappointment, there was only an orphan but better than nothing. So, after having my fun and feeling good about myself I decide I'll do a little shopping when I hear A-lo say maybe it'd be a good idea if we found a place to rest for the night. Gotdammit if it wasn't midnight already. So thank you, truly. I now have far more time to drink, bang 70yr old hookers, and kick orphans.
Endorsed + gave you a Kudos for this fantastic mod along with your other mod (Afflictions and Inspirations) which I highly recommend others to use. Take care.
Hello) A small addition: World Map uses a different value for gametime/realtime ratio. So if you want to slow down time on World map you can change this value in global.gamedetabundle:
I've dropped it into the override folder, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas? Time is still moving normally on the map. Edit: It's not this mod, to whoever is reading this: the problem is/was definitely on my end.
Right, that’s intended. Or at least unavoidable (AFAIK). This mod only affect the time when you are exploring the different zone and won’t affect neither travel time or the travel time on the world map.
Ahhh, darn. Either way, it doesn't work, but neither do other mods I've tried to install. It's definitely something on my end. Thanks anyway, I'll tinker around and see what's wrong

Oh, and feel free to tinker with the "GameToRealTimeRatio" variable to find a setting that is 'just right' for you!
