Description
With this mod installed, ambient companion banter is much more likely to trigger. This mod does not change where or when banter can trigger, only the likelihood that banter will trigger where and when possible. This mod should work with any up-to-date version of the game (regardless of DLC, localization, etc.).

With this mod installed, ambient companion banter is much more likely to trigger. This mod does not change where or when banter can trigger, only the likelihood that banter will trigger where and when possible. This mod should work with any up-to-date version of the game (regardless of DLC, localization, etc.).
Installation
To install
- Create a backup of your game's Assembly-CSharp.dll file located in your game's \PillarsOfEternityII_Data\Managed folder.
- Download and extract the main file from this mod's Files tab. You should now have a folder named Banter Booster, containing one file: BanterBoosterPOEII.pw.dll.
- If you haven’t already set up the Patchwork Launcher itself: download and install the Patchwork Launcher.
- Follow the Patchwork Launcher's run instructions, selecting the mod's BanterBoosterPOEII.pw.dll from the Patchwork Launcher DLL folder during step four. Any time you launch the game through the Patchwork Launcher, the mod will take effect.
- Optional: If you want to be able to launch the game normally (which is necessary if you want achievements), follow the instructions under Advanced Features for the Patchwork Launcher.
To uninstall
- If you completed the optional installation step, replace the modded Assembly-CSharp.dll file with your backup. This will uninstall all other mods which modify the Assembly-CSharp.dll file. If you want to continue using other mods, launch the Patchwork Launcher, select Active Mods > select Banter Booster > Remove > Close before reinstalling your other mods.
- If you did not complete the optional installation step, launch the Patchwork Launcher, select Active Mods > select Banter Booster > Remove > Close.
