Obligatory Mod Backstory + Most Honorable of Mentions

Do you love your companions? Does it hurt your heart a little bit to have to turn one down because you're already in a relationship with another? Do you have enough love in your heart for all the romanceable companions?

I do! And when I saw that there wasn't already a polyamory mod, I was like "aw, heck. I guess I'll deal." AND THEN I COULDN'T! I couldn't deal, so I decided to do something about it myself. So I went into the files, promptly got confused, and went to an accomplished modder for help.

I literally could not have done this without Tarlonniel walking me through the basics of stringtables and conversationbundles--they even pointed out a flag to start from. So HUGE Thanks to them, and I highly recommend both their POE2 mods because Aloth and Rekke are beautiful, delightful men.

And you deserve to hold the hands of those beautiful men.

And the other romanceable companions.

Because this mod is compatible with those (the basic versions at least). ;)

What it does

This mod allows you to romance any and all smoochable companions at the same time by removing or editing flags dealing with relationships. Crewmates will also continue to proposition you and you can sleep with them without consequence (if that was even affected by those flags).

1.1 Update should fix issues with Maia's romance. If you want Maia and Xoti to be able to initiate a romance after you've already romanced Maia, make sure to grab the optional file still! 

What it doesn't do

It doesn't add immersive conversations about balancing a polyamorous relationship among your crewmates. Maybe someday. THAT'S the content we deserve. Someday we may even have it...

Potential Issues

This mod was fully playtested by me, and I fixed issues as I found them. That said, there was one endgame slide that wouldn't fire regarding a romance, but nothing I altered in the mod should have interfered with that, and I even messed with flags in the console that affect that slide, to no avail--so I think my savegame just glitched. Link to slightly more specific reference to the issue, but beware spoilers!

NOTE: Works best with new games, or before relationships are initiated.

Installation

In your game install folder, go into "PillarsOfEternityII_Data" and create a folder called "override," and drop the "poly-mod" folder in the downloaded zip file into override.

This mod should go at the end of your load order!

Disabling + Uninstallation 

Uncheck the mod in the in-game mod manager. To remove the mod entirely, go back to override and delete the poly-mod folder.
