We are told Skalds are as much warriors as they are chanters and minstrels yet a look at the subclass reveals very little of this tale, in fact, Skalds are generally subpar, especially when compared to the likes of a certain subclass called the Troubador. This mod aims to change that and make the Skald more capable and enjoyable without breaking the subclass. To this end several quality of life changes have been added, improving melee accuracy, damage and penetration; however most important of all has been the change to the Skald's trademark ability, namely the ability to recapture phrases through critical hits, something that, by dint of the nature of crits themselves did not happen often. Consequently I have raised the percentage chance from 50% to 100%. As crits are rare I do not think this is overpowered and it makes the Skald competitive with the Troubador. From now on every crit you land with a melee weapon will grant you a new phrase.
