This is a small mod meant to improve the Devoted subclass, which is a fighter subclass. The idea behind the Devoted is that of an absolute weapon master that neglects everything else apart from his chosen weapon. However, the way in which Obsidian implemented the subclass was (at least to me) disappointing. For example, extra Crit Damage is great but its overall utility is small because Crits by their nature are rare events, detracting from the effectiveness of the subclass. To this end I have implemented small but cumulatively noticeable changes to improve Devoted game play. I have retained +2 Penetration with the chosen weapon; this was good but have added +10% Action Speed with the chosen weapon, +5 Accuracy with the chosen weapon and a flat +15% Damage bonus with the chosen weapon. As I believe in balance and avoiding OPness I have increased the Accuracy penalty to -15 with non-proficient weapons and added a -1 Armor Penalty to the subclass, as a reflection of its devotion to its weapon to the exclusion of all else. In summary, you will get a somewhat more powerful but balanced Devoted that is actually worth playing because all of its benefits, as well as its drawbacks will constantly be in play.
