I played for 5 hours before realizing it wasn't saving my games. Hours lost due to incredibly half baked instructions.

This Patchwork mod page provides an option to download using Vortex mod manager, what happens if you do that?

This doesn't seem to be working as of this moment with the latest version of the game and the 6-character team mod (which is what I was trying to use).

It's funny that the equivalent for PoE is still going strong and it's the older game, yet this seems to be dead.  Shame, as this is a good game in its own right, with quite a few improvements and tweaks on the PoE formula, and ridiculous amounts of attention to detail in all areas of the game.  I suppose that, sadly, it never got the publicity push the first game had (it being one of the first big Kickstarter projects).

I  hope somebody with the skills takes it upon themselves to sort out this and the unity console mod :)  Or I dunno, make things work with the Unity Mod Manager or something.  One can dream! :)

hi, came here for 6 party member mod, i managed to get it to work by following this:
If you do not want to install Patchwork, I have provided in the release the Assembly-CSharp.dll file containing:

      • The management of the group for 6 characters
      • The pets for all the companions

You have to make a backup of the Assembly-CSharp.dll dll file in "Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\Managed" (rename the Assembly-CSharp.dll.bck for example) and then copy paste the new download.

Where did you read that? It's nowhere in this mod's description, or in the readme.

There's no CSharp file in this mod, either, so I have no idea what you're talking about, or where to get that.

Just downloaded it. Every time I open it and it asks me to specify the game folder, the moment I hit browse, both it and windows explorer crashes

I struggled to make it work on Mac, but I think it's just not possible (which should have been written in the main page...).

Patchwork Launcher looks for 'Patchwork.Attributes.dll' inside a folder called 'PillarsOfEternityII_Data'. Which just can't exist on Mac because of the way applications are installed.

If someone have any idea, or at least tried this on a Mac, I will be glad to have some insight.

The instructions don't work. I got as far as adding Mono, and then I can't open the PatchworkLauncher.exe

How did you run the PatchworkLauncher.exe ?

After having installed Mono for Mac did you open a console and run it like this: "[path_to_mono_bin_folder]mono [path_to_PatchworkLauncher.exe ]\PatchworkLauncher.exe"?

I don't have access to a Mac environment, so I cannot try out the Patchwork framework on a Mac myself, but it does run using the Windows version.

Ok i will try that. Thank you!
