Does this mod work with mods that alter/add new abilities to the Paladin class? I.e. the Funnening series has a mod for Paladin that adds in new abilities and changes some old ones.
Found it to be the best balance, they are given a great number of spells that deal damage with scaling penetration, I wanted them to not have access to full attacks, also the blue fire effects didn’t really match with the godhammer bomb weapons aesthetic. Edit: access is lost only to paladin fire abilities, fire abilities from other classes are available to the sol paladin.
Hey all, now that Deadfire is coming to a close, I want to do something special, please let me know down in the comments :} Do you feel I should lower cost of abilities? or do you think the balance is pretty good? I would like to do something special for the closing of Deadfire, if I find the time. What would you like to see? How do you feel about special trinkets for each Mystic knight class? Maybe a transformation or a special ability? Do you want me to expand my headcannon for these subclasses, are you interested in me providing some fan-lore for these classses?
I'm still having The Missing String issue and i have no other mod installed. I just downloaded the latest version but can't read anything because of this missing string thing. It is really frustrating. Please find a way to fix it.
I tried my mod with enhanced UI and seems like they are compatible, so I don't know what the problem could be. How did you install the mod and in what language are you playing?
I think the newest update broke this mod. I was using it a couple days ago and it was fine. Now, half the time it'll say I have no subclass. I've even put this mod at the top of the order and the subclass came back (my skills returned), but when I leveled up, the new umbral skills weren't showing up in the skill tree and I didn't receive any new skills on gaining a new power level.
Hmm that’s weird dunno what’s happening there. Is the the mod the latest version? And if so what language are you using? Are you using any other mods that edit paladin classes? The thing I can suggest for now is to do a fresh download of my mod and remove any mods that edit paladin classes. Thanks for the support!!!!
I'm only using enhanced user interface mod, nothing else. And mod is the latest version, and i'm playing default, english language. So i really don't know what's wrong but it is annoying.
I will put new numbers for every sting table entry next update, maybe that will fix your issues. Could you give me your output log maybe just search up output in the main deadfire folder and it should be the first thing to come up, can't promise it will help me much to identify the issue but its a step.
Hey everyone, sorry that the parts of this mod you guys are waiting for haven’t come out yet. I have Part II almost half way done so I’m excited to give you a little hint about which one is coming next. The next mystic knight class draws powers from banshees and spirits lost under the pale moonlight. :3 And for Part III, those knights are martyrs of a Saint.
Umbral Mystics would follow any god really except those who would look upon their practices. A nihilistic look on life would probably suit them best so maybe Rymrgand or Wael, or even a strategic look of the souls like Berath’s perspective.
I don’t have that mod intsalled so the issue could be some other mod. If you are using some mod that alters paladin progression tables then that could be one possible cause. Would you be kind enough to provide me with your output log.
I noticed the issue when I tried loading class mod files one by one and they didn't show for some reason. Then I installed the UI mod on a whim, had an unlocker loaded still and found "Hey, wait, I can see these classes now". Then I loaded -all- of them and it looked like most of them were there, without any conflicts. So, my conclusion was the UI mod was a pre-req. I'm no modder, though, so, I could very much be wrong.
Checked out your output log. You are using quite a lot of mods with incompatibilities I assume. Anyways I will say for anyone that paladin tweaks mods are going to be incompatible until I work to make patches for them.

What God would you suggest for building a history? I was thinking Disintegrating souls(Rymrgand) or randomly dispersing them(Wael).
