First, I would like to thank you for this mod and the possibility to play with a bird companion, the fact that the mod adds new options instead of replacing the original ones, is amazing, thank you so much for this!
Second, I have an ideia/suggestion/request, if possible and viable. Do you think that is it possible to add or create an option where you can choose between the hawk companion and an owl companion, something like an artic owl (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowy_owl)? I go for another gameplay and this time I wish to make a night hunter archetype with a bird companion and, nothing better than a nocturnal bird for this run... rsrsrs.
Love this mod! Any chance you would consider creating a version that maybe replaces the wolves with some sort of war hound?? Or even one of the already existing dog models.
There are some Rautai Gunhawks with pets named Hawk in the game (I believe I saw some when boarding a Rautai ship), changing the name of your bird probably renames theirs as well. Nice mod btw.
Ishiza doesn't seem to be selectable as a companion, only option on the companion list is hawk.
edit: sorry, on re-reading this is kinda rude. :'D I really like the premise for this mod and appreciate the work you put into it, just had a tiring day and didn't think as much on phrasing as I should have.
'Add Bird companion to any Ranger Class' no-one talked about adding Ishiza (i only said that the name will be not changed by stringtable) Atm to get the Maia's Animal companion you have to be a Gunhawk ---> use Priest of Rymrgand (DLC) and other Hidden Classes Unlocked to unlock the Gunhawk hidden class
Whatever i can make also a version with Ishiza unlocked for any ranger subclass
EDIT : Added a new version that unlock Ishiza for any ranger subclass (except ghost heart)

I have one small question about the bird though, since I already have a Lion Companion would it be possible for you to make an extra mod where the lion is replaced with the bird (look-wise). While still keeping it's original name and stats? Where if I simply remove the mod later would then it turn back to normal (aka lion) anytime.
There was a mod like that where a user made it possible to have a Panther and switched out the lion, so we lion users could go back to having a panther or lion whenever we want. Can you do that for the Bird if it's even possible??
And if its not very simple to make then nevermind. I don't want to ask for anything if it takes a ton of anybody's time, and would do it myself if I knew how all this modding thing works. I just really don't want to make a new game, yet I'm so tempted now lol, because to have a bird. I already thought of a name for it, it will be called Naevia. <3

EDIT : Nevermind i've already did it Just put in override folder and arrange the order in Mod Manager to have it below the Bird Companion mod, of course the Bird/Lion name will be assigned from the characters.stringtable like the Bird Companion

I was worried it was very time consuming to accomplish so you would ignore my response, or give me the horrible news. This is so awesome now, no more Simba and black panther for me, I'm bird person for life. xD
oh, thnks for good words :) Btw it's a little better then the panther cuz being a real animal companion the bird have also the right icon and not a blank one
