    Hi mortimermcmire,
I'm Garten. I asked for your help in the Obsidian forum and now I've finally been able to complete my modded items (books) thanks to you. Since my mod is based on yours, is it ok for you if I publish it? This is my first mod so i am not sure in which is the corret approach xD

    Thanks
    Garten

by all means, that was the point of making this - to provide a good showcase for others to copy

I would love it if you could add different weapon variations like a pistol and saber. I can't find the other gui files to write to put those in place instead of the warhammer pick axe.

This is great! Thanks! Do you know how to edit existing data? Or how to found models? It seems to me as if all the game data is stored in one giant .unity3d file which I can't make heads or tails of with it's thousends of entries.

edit existing data in what way? this mod shows what you can do. you can't add new models but you can use existing ones. just find the model you want to use on another item and copy/paste its properties

I'm not the author of this mod, but here's a rough guide I threw together on how to make similar mods: https://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/8jiez5/poe2_modding_tutorial_rough_and_ready/

Hello, thanks for making this but I can't seems make it appears on Marihi's Shop. I've tried to paste the override folder in the same place as the PillarsOfEternityII.exe, inside PillarsOfEternityII_Data folder, and both but it still won't show.

Can you please elaborate more for the installation? Do I need to extract the bloody bolssom axe folder?

hi, the file structure should be PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\bloody blossom axe

let me know if that works, thanks

Doesn't seem to work for me. It's not in the shop and even when I try to add it by console "GiveItem mort_pollaxe" it doesn't work.

I placed the ovverride folder to the base directory of the game, but I am guessing this is wrong?

Edit: Okay I figured it out. Just needed to place the override folder in the data_folder and place the design and localized folders directly in the override folder.

while i'm somewhat disappointed we can't add new models it still makes me happy we can make unique items, if we could somehow make them randomly placed loot in containers we could make the game more lootcentric and it would add to the replay value so you wouldn't always get the same items every playthrough which would make the game more interesting from a challenge perspective it could make things easier or harder depending on what you get i'd certainly enjoy that.

Nicely done, hope to see more of this. I'm at least 15 hours in now (probably more) and haven't seen one decent pollaxe yet so this is perfect!
