Doesn't work with save files from the 2025 patch, 1.3.5.0.87535.

Hi all, i try to use the "latest" Editor i was able to find on gitHub:
    https://github.com/ktully/eternity-keeper
however, i am not well versed in compiling it. I installed a JDK and maven, i managed to bring it into my PATH variable and start the compiling mode, like in the readme. however it is not finishing it, as it is running into 73 errors or so.

Is this version still usable? what did i possibly do wrong?
Underlying exception : java.lang.reflect.InaccessibleObjectException: Unable to make protected final java.lang.Class java.lang.ClassLoader.findLoadedClass(java.lang.String) accessible: module java.base does not "opens java.lang" to unnamed module @4b7cb8a0

    Thans a lot!

For anyone in the future who runs into this problem, just modify the command as follows
      mvn install -P<platform> -Dmaven.test.skip=true

Also, for some reason, the run.bat/run.sh files don't appear to have had their versions up to date.
I would recommend using the run.bat file and changing the third line from
      java -jar -Djava.library.path=./lib/native/win64 target/eternity-0.1.jar
      TO
      java -jar -Djava.library.path=./lib/native/win64 target/eternity-0.20a.jar

I'm a couple years late to give you guys this advice, but hopefully it helps someone else. You don't have to compile it, you just have to know your way around github. Instead of downloading the entire project, you need to go the releases page for the project and download the already compiled Windows version. Just use the URL above, but add /releases at the end. This works for all github projects, if there's been a release.

In this case, this is the URL you should be using: https://github.com/ktully/eternity-keeper/releases

This gets you version 0.20 alpha, as opposed to version 0.16 that is here on the Nexus. Just download the file called Eternity.Keeper.win64-75-0-20a.zip

So this mod has been Discontinued Completly? Pity.  I had just downloaded the Gog variaton of this game : 3.7.1.1411_(74550) and had hopes for something more.

I have been away from this game for a while and thought some fun stuff might have been programed by now, unfortunately there is utterly nothing available beyond outdated programs which don't function with the current builds of this game.

Before I bother downloading this, does it even work with the current build I mentioned?, or is this a lost cause? Once again I haven't been able to locate anything that works for editing this game, no trainers or save editors. Does anyone out there have ANY ideas??. (looking for a editor that modifies character inventory and statistics) Thanks in advance

As of 04Dec24, the program works to reassign player stats, though you seem unable to do the same with companions. You also seem to be able to adjust broader game states (flags, skills and whatever you'd like to call it), but this I haven't tested. You're also able to add currency, in any quantity you might wish. Then you save it as a new save and load it in game, and that's pretty much it. Just make sure that upon first running the program, it's pointed to the correct (root) game folder (where your game .exe is in Steam, GOGH or whatever), otherwise it will obviously be unable to edit any saves.

Which is ideal for me, since I assigned mine with little consideration initially and am already past Act 1 and no way am I doing it all over again. Very useful application, thank you! <3

Hello, I'm trying to use this mod but each time I run the .exe file, this command window pops up, displays this message for like 2 seconds, before disappearing. I've tried running as administrator already, nothing changes. I managed to grab a quick screenshot of the command window but I can't make heads or tails of what this says, help?

      Same problem.
I edited the raw values, and saved them. They changed, but they reset when the game is loaded. I tried editing with cheat engien and the values changed, but when the game loads, they are exactly the same reset to standard.

I know this is WAY late, but you have to set the install directory when it prompts you at load-up to the Pillars game install folder.

Ok, and what exactly is that supposed to do to resolve the issue???

Doing that, changed nothing about being able to edit the companions attributes. Their attributes are still greyed out and changing the raw numbers still does nothing once you load the save in the game.
