Great little mod - thanks! Felt for a while that arcane assault was not as effective as it should be and wizards were being forced into CQC.
Do you mind my asking, what did you use to edit the file? I'm thinking of trying my hand at re-balancing the weapons and changing some talents (like the seemingly arbitrary weapon specializations, perhaps by dividing them by damage types or something to that degree).
EDIT: Also, how difficult would it be to make arcane assault a target spell rather than aoe area target?
Hi all, I've updated the mod again for you Steam users, as Obsidian put out another hotfix recently. Please make sure you download the correct version - Steam users are now on game version 1.03.0530.
Getting a pink square with no sound when using this mod. I have tried all 3 versions of the mod - 10, 15 and 20m. I have no patches or hotfixes installed. Only the core game (GOG version). Based on the comments I've read combined with my own experience, it would seem this bug occurs with all versions of the mod, as well as with all versions of the game.

I want to play a cross between a Mage/Barbarian. In order to do that, I need to be able to have the amount of casts I can make of abilities reset per encounter. By default the game resets them only if you rest. So from encounter to encounter, I am basically boring to play. I don't want it to be that way.
I think this may have something to do with having the patch + hotfix installed (i.e. playing on Steam), which might be screwing up the shaders. I'm using just the patch at the moment as the hotfix has not yet been released for GOG users, so maybe I can fix it when that's released.

But, I think it's missing shaders. The ability is now only a pink quad/square.
