Works fine with 3.070.1318, the december hotfix, graphics are fine too. There was a bug in the initial release of the definitive edition that caused a lot of pink glitches, but its been fixed.
Well-done. I like this mod a lot. But would it be possible to turn off that annoying animation? It is an eyesore now that it is on permanently. I suppose I can turn it on and off every fight, but that's also a hassle, and I am a forgetful old man. Thanks in advance!
I'll be taking a look at the files to see the problem.
Edit: I have looked at the files and I apparently forgot to change the duration settings. It's been fixed now and should work properly as a modal. Also modified tln_arcaneveil as well just in case it does have something to do with it.
ANOTHER Edit: I fixed the duration of hardened veil as well, it will now work with the modal option. giving a +10, it may still report +25, but it is actually +10. So in total you will get +35.
ANOTHER Edit2: I finally got the dang thing right lol. I was editing an exact same but different monobehavior lmao. But it's all fixed up in V4 now, you get your 35 deflect modal perfectly.
That's great news, would you happen to know how to mod other things like weapon focus? Just to make it more proper so that - for example "knight" weapons included poleaxes? In other words making each focus actually contain the weapons most popular for each group?
I could look, but most likely not, the game seems to focus on putting things as numbers for the most part, which would mean it most likely won't be in an easily decipherable list format. Not saying I won't try, just saying I wouldn't get your hopes up on that one lol.
Edit: Yeah, looks like this has to be something about a script because the actual data strands I can see that would edit this look like so...
0 int SpecializationCategory = 1 0 float BonusAccuracy = 6.000000
What this means is, without knowing the actual script it uses and how to edit it, I can only edit the mono behaviors currently which are the bonus ratings, and whether or not it counts as a specialization category.
The only thing I can currently tell is that it references the c-sharp.dll a whole bunch of times for deciding something about talent data, so could be it's in there, but I don't know how to edit that yet.
That is the same, exact conclusion I have reached + I've also noticed that changing:
0 int WeaponType = 6 to 0 int WeaponType = 20 changed weapon types from daggers to sabers.
So, it's going to be either all about altering localization and weapon types or making a quick edit to Assembly-CSharp.DLL and I have no idea how to open it either... obviously editing the DLL would be the preferred option in this case.
Thank you very much for this, I was hoping that someone would update this for the newest patch.
I would have done it myself if I could figure out how, modding PoE is daunting to say the least. If you don't mind my asking, what tools are you using/what is your modding process? I haven't been able to find much information on how exactly one goes about making changes such as this.

Any chance for update?
Thanks
So is this mod dead because of this? how can i fix it or how do i uninstall it since it required the overwrite of other files?

tln_arcane_veil
Maybe modifying it would change some tings? The one you changed was "arcane_veil".
