Anyone else here experiences a visual bug? Whenever I cast Marked Prey, instead of a glow I just get a bunch of purple pixels, like a cloud, with no texture. FYI, I only have this mod installed and nothing else.
Umm for those of us on patch 3.06, any hope this will get updated? I really like rangers, but the companions are so weak it's not worth being one in the standard game.
Also, would it be possible to get a Lion companion that has 18 might instead? Or maybe something like 15-16 might, and 14-15 constitution. I feel like the lion is really underpowered for the fact that it's a lion(feel same about wolf, but I don't use wolf companion lol). And if at all possible could his model be changed to that of the Elder Lion? Just for the cool factor xD
I second that. Would love to have an update of this Mod for Patch 3.06. This Mod was working fine for me on Patch 3.05. Is there any way I can "downgrade" Pillars Of Eternity to Patch 3.05? My Boar Animal Companion is now missing its animation, and is solid pink in color.
Is this updated for version 3.05 I'm doing a fun run with 4 Ranged Rangers w/ Bear Companions, A Perm-Shifted Bear Druid and a Nature God-like Chanter and want to avoid getting purple animal companions.
In the Install Instructions, it states: "Put the abilities.stringtable file in the PillarsOfEternity_Data\data\localized\en folder."
Shouldn't this file actually go into the following folder instead (where the original file is located)? \PillarsOfEternity_Data\data\localized\en\text\game
I did not feel like the wolf needed any changes, it's my companion of choice as well. The wolf has the highest endgame damage, while the stag has awesome AoE.
The other companions, especially the Boar, are a bit unremarkable, so I wanted to give them some more beef.
Antelope: High defenses, fast and accurate. Bear: Durable, good damage. The DT bonus alone just wasn't very remarkable past level 6-7. Boar: Tenacious and durable. The innate bonus is bad and situational, so I gave it high Resolve(Will). Lion: Jack-of-all-Trades + Roar. The roar is good, but I'll probably shuffle the stats of this one, if I do another version.
Wolf: Awesome damage at low and high levels + Disengagement bonus. Awesome as it is. Stag: AoE with the Carnage ability is just awesome, even if very situational so I left it as it is.

(i.e., there is no "cre_wolf_animal_companion.unity3d" file within the Mod).
I am saddened by this, since I like to chose a wolf as my Ranger's companion.
:'-(
