If you get back to the game would you mind adding Gwisk Glas robe? I'd like it to be a pants outfit. Maybe the Valian Clothing or the Dyrwood shirt and pants.
After swimming and climbing in exclusive plate armour, and other totally rogue normalcies, I can only agree that some stylish looks were underestimated... Thanks for the MOD.
Sorry, I've stopped playing the game (and unistalled it) shortly after I've published the mod. If and when I'm in the mood to play again, I will honor your request.
I'm not sure if it is an issue with the "backup" versions of the files provided, or an issue with the Gog updater, but I tried to update to 3.05 in order to install the White March (which I just bought), but it reported a problem with the files (understandably, since I had updated two of them with this mod):
Pillars of Eternity patch log Incorrect version of: C:\...objectbundle\padded_armor_jack_of_wide_waters.unity3d Incorrect version of: C:\...\objectbundle\padded_armor_vengiatta_rugia.unity3d
I used the versions provided in the "backup" folder to uninstall the mod, but the patcher still reports an error on subsequent runs. Either the versions provided in the backup folder are flawed (or perhaps a version older than 3.04?), or the Gog patcher is unable to recover after an initial failed update. Either way, this is quite problematic. I think I am going to have to redownload the game (already patched to 3.05) and reinstall in order to install The White March now.
Yeah, the version I had (and made the mod for) was v. 3.03.1047. This is why the backup looks old to Galaxy updater. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I hope the re-installation fixed the problem. If you still want to use the mod, make your own back-ups of the files.
But how did you do this? I tried just renaming the files, but to my dismay, that wouldn't work. Could you please tell me what tools I need to figure out how to replace armor models? Unity I have but it appears that's not enough.
Unity alone won't do the trick, because you can't save the changes. Unity Pro may be better, but I didn't try it. What I've used was a mix of : Unity - to see the outfits properties, Unity Assets Bundle Extractor for their values and finally a hex editor to change them and save the file. It's rather complicated to explain and perform the process. If all you want is a minor change, let me know and I might find some time to do it for you.
Oh! Unity Assets Bundle Extractor was what I was missing. I'll give Unity Pro a go as well and I'm not a stranger to messing with hex data. I'm sure I can figure this out now that I know the tool.
