Does anyone have a link to the actual source code for this mod? The link in the description is not the most recent version. (I'd be happy to help the original authors update the mod for the new patch, but I need the source first lol)
I have been able to contact Bester the mods author. His stance on the matter is clear. If we want this Mod updating then he wants to be paid for it. Current asking price, $300.
Needlessly convoluted install instructions. The author could just as easily have made a folder called Pillars of Eternity with the correct folder structure that's drag and drop. Genuinely perplexed as to why this mod ended up this way.
What are the odds this is working with the surprise new patch today? What are the odds that someone else will even stumble across this comment in 2024? Haha.
I tried it, game won't start. Wondering if there is some magical year old fix that I have missed.
Yeah I have the same question - and did the same thing, tried it with a fresh install of the new patch yesterday as soon as it was available and it crashes/hangs at start up with IE Mod installed - I have GOG backup installers so can install to 1318 which is what I have been using IE Mod with, but the new (large) patch obviously breaks something in relation to IE Mod. Would be good if it will eventually get an update to work with the new patch as would be good to be able to use both?
Well just FWIW I kinda answered my own question and did some testing myself and I'm assuming no from what I found (game won't load with some mods and with others changing file extension to new existing replace file doesn't seem to manifest mod changes 'in game' - so won't work with new 1.3.7.1377 patch (which GOG shows as 1.3.7.1431 and Steam as 1.3.4.1377) without the mod being updated.
P.S. It's been reported below and elsewhere the dev (Bester?) wants to be paid to update it (presumably given the time its likely to require). I have not heard this first hand this is just what was stated by others when the beta patch came out in January. Perhaps everyone could chip in US$1 each to fund it? Should be able to raise a few hundred US pretty easily...
...I'd happily pay a couple of dollars to have the use of IE Mod for a few more years...

This is a proposal I would support if it is clarified how to organize it. Rechecking and possibly adapting all of the various functions which are provided by the mod may be a tedious effort. Though also possible further adaptions should somehow be included, just to be sure, as in the Obisidian forum thread new bugs for the v1.3.7.0.1377 were mentioned which might lead to another future patch.
https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity/mods/344/ - an update for the impatient. I will remove that file once this gets a proper update. I don't really know what I'm doing, I straight up deleted some stuff I couldn't get to work, and all I checked is if I can start the game with it enabled. Scratch it, doesn't work, sorry
I cannot use the latest version due to Patchwork Launcher quitting on me saying it cannot locate my exe file of Pillars of Eternity. I am on a mac and I follow the install instructions for Patchwork Launcher and no joy.
Is there a version of this that I can use on my mac? I am on 2013 mac so it's an Intel Mac. The issue is from Patchwork Launcher itself and nothing else.

Someone contacted the mod author to ask if they could update it themselves and the mod author said they would do it for $300 USD lmfao. What a guy
