thank you for downloading my little reshade preset. i will quickly show you how to download it
NOTE: you can open this readme inside the notepad application but you will not have easy access to links.
if you use Notepad++, you can click links. :)
----INSTALLATION----
1. i highly suggest downloading the recent version of Reshade (https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_4.9.1.exe)
2. when prompted to select a game, find and select "Phasmophobia.exe" ("D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Phasmophobia" for example)
3. then, select "Direct 3D 10/11/12" and, when prompted to choose effect packages, choose "qUINT by Marty McFly" and "Color effects by prod80"
4. keep all effects. do not uncheck any.
5. with all the files downloaded, drag "ReShadePreset" into the same folder as "Phasmophobia.exe"
6. in-game, i suggest turning off the bloom effect the game uses. the ReShade preset has its own bloom values
7. set the brightness to 0.7 (might have to mess with the brightness a bit. not all monitors/tvs have the same brightness setup as i do)
8. enjoy a sharper, darker and more colorful Phasmophobia!
