Pathologic Classic HD x2 ver. 0.9.1 -- UPDATED 8/3/2023

Small update -- Included are new 'vanilla-style' patterns for carpet_03 and carpet_05, as well as a second pass at some of the carpets whose touch-ups I wasn't happy with. The old replacer versions of carpet_03 and carpet_05 are included in the update as optional files for anyone who prefers those. Also fixed an issue with the upscaler smoothing the details out of wall 35 too aggressively.

This mod covers a little over 50% of the total textures in Pathologic Classic HD. Most of the textures were upscaled using Gigapixel AI, with a few manual touch-ups and replacements where available.The goal of this mod is not 100% coverage. Rather, it's to bring some of the older textures that were not touched by the Classic HD release up to snuff with the improved ones, to help with some of the visual disparity issues that were created by the replaced textures looking significantly better than the originals. 

This is something of a beta release - I did double-check the final results, but did not get to check all in-game locations where these new textures show. Please let me know if you find any textures that came out looking odd. Do also note that many of the more glaring texture issues are due to the way that the textures are mapped to the models, not necessarily the models or textures themselves (though admittedly, some of the models don't help). To my knowledge there is currently no proper fix for these issues, as nobody has managed to decode the format that the models are saved as. Until someone develops a method to do so, it is what it is.

At any rate, this is Pathologic, you wouldn't be here if you didn't have a level of tolerance for jank.

WHAT IS CURRENTLY COVERED:
- Actors: PCs, named NPCs, generic town NPCs, Worms, Tragedians, Executors, and animals.
- Most architecture, both interior and exterior: Wallpaper, brick, tile, plaster, stone, wood, or metal architecture.
- A couple of the rugs have been replaced. The rest that were particularly low quality have been upscaled and given some manual touchups. Definitely not perfect, but hopefully they should stand out a little less until I can make some suitable replacements.
- Some of the textures that were included with the original Pathologic Widescreen Mod (for the original english translated version) have been included in this package. These are the dead leaves and mud on the streets, as well as the textures for the grass, lilypads, weeds, twyre, herbs, etc. Used with permission. All credit for these goes to the authors of that mod.

- The Polyhedron's textures
- Fix that stupid texture seam on the Tragedian's mask
- Windows/glass objects 
- Assorted in-game object models
- The rest of the cloth, fabrics, textiles, etc.
