1. Run the .exe and select the "pathologic_data" folder in your game files.

2. Copy the "sound1.resource" file into that same "pathologic_data" folder.

All overwritten files will be automatically backed up by the installer.

Sometimes the installer process won't close when it finishes, so close it in task manager.
