It's been awhile since I've played, but I believe what you are looking for is the Champion Skills feat. By default, this would be what you should get by taking the feat, assuming you do not modify any configuration for the mod in the settings manager:
Champion Skills - adds +1 bonus to all skill checks. Increases by +1 for every two levels starting at level 3. This can be toggled to add directly to skill ranks if desired, avoiding issues with untrained skill checks and checks against skill ranks that ignore bonuses.
So if you take it at level 1, you should immediately get +1 on all skill checks. Then again at level 3, 5, and so on.
In the settings editor (F10 while in game? someone check me on this please!) you find the Champion Feats Anew mod, open the options, go to Champion Skills (or whichever feat) and there should be a checkbox to toggle for direct add, as well as ways to adjust number of bonus points per level and how many levels between bonuses.
Thank you so much Ippjr for this incredibly flexible and helpful mod. Working perfectly for me through modfinder with lots of other mods running.
Man, would I love to see one that did the same with curses/enemy resistance and ability reduction.
I can't seem to strike a balance between upping the difficulty with things like Toybox adding back in bugged unfair and mods making it too easy in the game overall, while still being able to experience new items, classes, feats, etc. for replay-ability.
The enemy always end up with to much spell resistance/mega saves, and so I end up relying only on weapon attacks/skills. Then I end up turning off turn-based to watch a slug fest instead of managing the combat.
Sorry for the off topic and thanks again. This helped a lot with the problem above.
Glad you're enjoying it, but the vast, vast, VAST majority of the code was written by the original author, RealityMachina, as linked to on the main page of this mod. I added something, tweaked a few things, I don't remember what exactly, but most of this mod's credit goes to RealityMachina.
I've posted an update to bring it up to the latest version. It at least seems to load and work for me after EXTREMELY brief testing. Given how long it's been and how little I actually had to change to get it to work I will be wildly shocked if that's all it took. Go ahead and let me know if you have any problems, but I make no guarantees that I will get back to this soon.
Went to check if there was an update on the github page, someone has made their own update you can find here until the mod author gets around to checking and using their pull request: https://github.com/Teraunce/Champion-Feats
Hopefully the mod author will get around to updating the nexus version too soon, this is definitely a great improvement on the original mod.
It didn't work for me neither. When I try to load my save it jumps back to the main menu. That's really sad I have to do things all over again - from the start in my latest campaign. We really need someone to update this mod.
I've got a lot of stuff going on personally right now and don't have time or inclination to keep the mod up to date (I haven't even played WotR in a couple of months now).
If anyone, particularly those who have submitted a PR to update it, would like to take up the mantle, I would appreciate it.
Good luck and have fun giving the demons the smackdown!

How can we modify the scaling as the description says we can?
Thanks in advance!!
