This mod should be completely save and other mod safe. It can be used at the beginning or in the middle of play through

With this mod you can use any useable item in your inventory from a convenient list from the main HUD.  This will free up belt slots for more important items and really let a scroll savant shine without the micro managing from the inventory screen.  This mod will also let you stack the annoying 48 composite longbows into one inventory slot saving a lot of clutter. Toggling can be accessed from the UMM menu as I see it as being a stay on or off the entire time you play setting. It is on by default.

This mod had the intent of adding separate containers for each class of usable item. Those items being scroll, wand, and potions along with a trash system to automatically keep your inventory nice and tidy (and would be compatible with Better Vendors 2).  I still have plans to finish this but I have not been able to work on it much and decided to release as is because I think it adds to the game experience still.  There are a lot of changes and fixes that I would like to eventually implement, such as replacing most of the monobehaviors that I reused from the game to get rid of a few minor but annoying issues.

To use:
  • Click on Scroll, Wand, or Potion to access the menu. Clicking on the button again will close the entire menu
  • Clicking on a level header will collapse or expand that items level.
  • Clicking on the item will use that item with the selected character. Personal are auto used while targeted will bring up the normal target UI.
  • If you try to use the item with no one or more than one character selected it will default to the main character.
  • Toggle stacking from the main UMM menu.
  • Toggle move mode from the main UMM menu in order to move the location of the container window. Select the entire party so quick actions aren't triggered and use the 4, 8, 6, 2 keys to move the window left, up, right, down. Pressing 7 will up the amount the menu moves per direction key pressed, 1 will decrease it. Turn move mode off after finished moving the window where you want it. The menu will stay where you place it. If you change resolutions you will probably have to move it again. This is somewhat hacky but I don't have the time to make a nice draggable window.

To recap tentative future updates:
  • Separate containers from the main inventory to hold useable items and trash
  • More custom monobehaviors to get rid of minor graphical glitches
  • Improve the interface by having proper labels for the count, DC, CL, etc for each item along with making it clear who can't use the item when they're selected
  • Maybe make player custom containers, that would probably be a lot of work though.

That being said, there a few minor annoyances:
  • if you toggle item stacking it will not automatically stack/unstack what is already in your inventory.  This can be seen as either a good or bad thing. Good because it does not affect your layout and items are where you left them. Bad because you have to manually split the items.  If you turn off stacking the number label will disappear on items that don't usually stack.  The items are still there though, it just the number label.  After toggling any new items to your inventory will automatically follow the behavior you intend.
  • The level headers don't work the first time you click to expand/collapse the level, though they always work after that.  Extremely minor but annoys me and would like to fix it.
  • Clicking on a usable item list for the first time will appear larger for a instant while it updates for the first time.
  • I would like the buttons to highlight to indicate what list you are on.  Again pretty minor because it is easy to tell, and would be pretty easy to fix when I get more time.
  • I just noticed after I published it that the menu is still visible during cut scenes. The collapsed menu is very unobtrusive so not game breaking.  I will try to fix that as soon as I can. This has been fixed.
  • Mod isn't consistent between HIGH resolution screens, being looked at.

That is pretty much all I can think for now.  Bugfixes will be addressed if serious. Check out the source here.
