    Love the concept of this mod! After playing with it for a bit though... there are no foods which give reduced sanity drain; this means that without another mod to handle pal eating habits (such as Pal Force Feeder, which makes pals eat until they are at least 95% full), pals seem to get upset/suffer from illnesses a lot more than without - making this mod somewhat detrimental compared to feeding your pals vanilla Pancakes / Fried Chikipi etc. I'm sure the significant work speed buff somewhat helps to make up for the illnesses, but it's very tedious trying to manage sanity/illness without any food to mitigate sanity drain.

    It'd be wonderful to change some of the buffs from -hunger drain to -SAN drain instead; frankly, the -hunger drain feels almost like a nerf to pals in the base since they won't eat as often to restore their sanity. In my opinion, most of the higher tier foods should have at least a small buff to the sanity drain rate if they are going to have a significant reduction to hunger drain (for example, Pizza with your mod reduces hunger drain by 50% - it should probably also reduce sanity drain, if possible).

    Other than that though, great mod - really enjoying it so far.

      Good point!

      I've also been thinking about the sanity drain.

      When I first started figuring the balance, I figured most players would want quick and easy food to feed their pals. Which is why I chose Berries to slow hunger decrease and Lettuce, Wheat, and Tomato to slow sanity decrease.

      I changed a bunch of the higher tier foods from their vanilla slowed sanity decrease to hunger decrease instead. The thinking is that since those higher tier foods require more work, players would rather eat them over giving them to pals. Also, players venturing far from base could take advantage of the slower hunger drain.

      Now that you mention this though, I will probably create an optional version where some foods from campfire and cooking pot have slower hunger decrease changed to slower sanity decrease. Maybe 25% and 50%.

      It'll take time since translations will need to be updated.

      Glad you are enjoying the mod!

      Yeah, in my experience once you reach late late game where you have high skill level/condensed pals and multiple bases, you can often afford to be constantly cooking the higher level foods for your pals in the base. It's great having *some* foods that are intended for player/party only (like how the Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco and Rushoar Hot Dogs are now for attack/defense) but especially the ones that have work speed (such as Pancakes, Pizza, Salad, Fried Chikipi, etc etc) should have at least some options for reduced sanity drain instead of the hunger decrease.

      Having both options is great though, since if you're not increasing your pal work level with the monitoring stand, you're usually fine with the hunger decrease and it makes food less tedious to manage.

      You might even want to consider some food options that give a boost to sanity drain and hunger decrease, but without any work speed bonus; I'm pretty sure this would be one of the stronger food items if not the strongest depending on the values you give it, but it would also be a neat middle ground between min-maxing work speed and minimizing the necessity for constant food supply - maybe on items that take some harder-to-gather materials like Reindrix Stew since those are generally higher level and a bit harder to farm than most of the other meats? Just an idea!

      Looking forward to the update! :)

      I love this, but I would also love to see a version that doesn't change all the secondary buffs into less hunger depletion.

      So, they do get the workspeedbuff from your mod, but keep the less sanity
      depletion if they have it, would that be possible ? So we can choose.
      I don't use the Workaholic passive skill in my breeding, and I liked the few food options that had this. :D

    Can you add something that boosts players HP then per sec or just heal them in general by a percentage?

    Hey! I love this mod.
    By the way, I made a Japanese translation of this mod. If you don't mind, could you please add a Japanese translation?

      @ICESOFT42
      Glad you are enjoying the mod! and thank you for providing Japanese translations!

      Unfortunately, at this time, I don't know how to implement Japanese translation.

      With my current knowledge, I only know how to access non-Japanese language files.

      I assume the game is native in Japanese, which explains why no Japanese language files are present in the directory where I can access all the other languages.

      I have been testing every day trying to figure out how to add mod descriptions to Japanese but am failing.

      I'm very sorry :(

      EDIT: I was able to get Japanese translations in!!

      @ICESOFT42

      SUCCESS!!!

      It took a bunch of tries to figure it out but after advice from user NorskPL, I was able to get your Japanese translations implemented for version 2.5

      I have confirmed working on my side but please let me know if they are working properly for you

    Thank you for the mod, I super love this :D

    and thank you for adding the Simplified Chinese translation too, but since I'm used to using Traditional Chinese, I used the Simplified Chinese translation to add the punctuation and change it to Traditional Chinese, if you don't mind, can you add the Traditional Chinese translation version as well?
    Google Sheet

    English is not my native language and I use translations that may not make sense.

      @s5823857
      Sure! I can definitely add Traditional Chinese.

      I opened your Google Sheet link but it is telling me access denied.

      If you change your link sharing to allow anybody with link to view, then I will have the ability to view it.

      Also, your English is good :) I assure you if I tried to communicate in your language I would really make a mess.
