the dusk/dawn transitions are a lot nicer in this version, but after trying it out i'm personally going to be sticking to v1, because the brightness/intensity of the sky in v2 are a bit much for me. v2 definitely has a very lovely, ethereal fantasy look though, it's super pretty.
I've tried running it with the mod on the client, but it doesn't apply on the dedicated server. Do I need to install the mode on the server side to run it on a dedicated server?
It's beautiful! I feel like it still needs a bit of tweaking, as there are times of the day/dawn that are a bit too bright, but definitely better than without the mod.
This version is aesthetically prettier but even brighter than the previous one, which I felt was a tad bit too bright already. I'm sticking with v1 and suggesting the addition of either a darker version or a way to change the brightness ourselves.
love this so pretty at night :) is there a way to keep the fog on at night? ive set fog on in the engine.ini, not off as suggested. during the day the fog works as usual, but when it hits night the fog all suddenly disappears. looks awesome but id still like the fog to be there.. is there a simple way or something i can edit to keep the fog always?
The mod looks great during the last hour of Daytime, especially with the black starry sky, but the blue lighting during Nighttime was too intense. I would much prefer the black sky to persist throughout the night. Will there be a version that removes the blue lighting while keeping the black sky?
Is there any chance of fixing the underground/indoor lighting? I wish there was a reason to use the lantern or torch in this game, but there simply aren't any dark enough locations.
To be fair it's called "better" night light, not "brighter", and it does a lot more than just make em less dark. Plus there's no mention of interiors anywhere either.
Any idea of what could be causing night transition lag? It may be just the new update to pal that is causing it though. Can not find much info about it. disabling this mod helped a lot but I really like this one compared to the default lighting. pretty and also so much better looking. I tried v1 as well but seems It just doesn't like me. the lag is moment of transition. I disabled fog and other high settings but no luck, thanks!
At first, I love the look of it since I first downloaded it (I got the V2 since I didn't like the V1 Screenshots that much, but I LOVE the V2 so much!) I'm just sad, that it's not really working on servers, is there a way to fix this somehow WITHOUT installing it on the server? I'd like to see the V2 also on servers :D
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this mod to work? For reference I am installing it into the Pak folder. I've installed it into the LogicMod folder, I've installed it into ~mod folder, I even tried installing it onto the dedicated server, that did not work. Is there any suggestions? Help?
